Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to share the financial and business information you submit. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Services only for lawful purposes.

THE SCORECARD, ASSESSMENT, AND MODEL AUDIT ARE INFORMATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TOOLS ONLY. They are NOT:

• Financial, tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice
• A substitute for a CPA, CFO, attorney, or registered advisor
• An audit, review, or compilation of financial statements
• A guarantee of any business outcome, funding result, or valuation

Outputs are based on the information you provide and on algorithmic and AI-assisted analysis (see our Privacy Policy for details). We do not independently verify your information. You are solely responsible for all business decisions you make.

The free Financial Health Scorecard is provided as a courtesy with no fees. Delivery is typically within 1 business day but is not guaranteed. We may decline, delay, or discontinue free Scorecards at our discretion.

4A. Financial Health Assessment

The Financial Health Assessment is sold for a flat fee of ninety-seven US dollars ($97) per engagement, unless otherwise posted on the Site.

Delivery: We will deliver your Assessment within five (5) business days of receiving complete information and payment.

Refunds: You may request a full refund within seven (7) days of delivery if you are not satisfied with the Assessment, by emailing info@founderfinance.ai. After seven days, all sales are final. We may also issue a refund in our discretion if we are unable to deliver the Assessment due to insufficient or inaccurate information.

Payment processing is handled by a third-party processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

4B. Model Audit

The Model Audit is sold for a flat fee of two thousand five hundred US dollars ($2,500) per engagement, unless otherwise posted on the Site. The Audit consists of three deliverables: a diagnostic memo, an annotated copy of your model file, and a recorded walkthrough.

Delivery: We will deliver your Audit within five (5) business days of receiving your complete intake submission, model file, and payment.

Refunds: If the Audit does not surface at least three findings you did not already know about your model, you may request a full refund by emailing info@founderfinance.ai within fourteen (14) days of delivery. We may also issue a refund in our discretion if we are unable to deliver the Audit due to insufficient or inaccurate information.

Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting information through the Site, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, including the FounderFinance.ai Addendum.

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all financial data and business information you submit. You grant us a limited license to process that information solely to deliver the Services to you.

6.2 Our Content

The Site, Scorecard framework, Assessment methodology, Model Audit framework, scoring algorithms, report templates, and all related materials are our intellectual property. The deliverables we provide to you (your personalized Scorecard, Assessment, Model Audit diagnostic memo, annotated model file, and recorded walkthrough) are licensed to you for your internal business use. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute them without our written consent.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse engineer the scoring or AI systems
• Scrape, copy, or bulk-download content from the Site
• Use the Services on behalf of a competitor for benchmarking
• Interfere with the Site’s operation or security

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR LOST REVENUE.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation for thirty (30) days. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association Commercial Rules, seated in Los Angeles, California.

YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted to the Site with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you engage The Lighthouse Group LLC for strategic financial advisory, fractional CFO, or other consulting services beyond the FounderFinance.ai Services, those engagements are governed by our separate Terms and Conditions and an executed Services Agreement, not by these Terms of Use.
